Dr. Mark Coan
Mark Coan, O.D., graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry. He completed an ocular disease residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, and was on staff at this hospital for 5 years as an optometrist and director of the Optometric Externship Program. There he gained extensive experience in the treatment of ocular diseases. Dr. Coan worked with the ophthalmology subspecialists within the retina, uveitis, neuroophthalmology, glaucoma, oculoplastics, cornea, LASIK, and pediatric departments. He has published articles in optometry journals and presented posters at optometry meetings. He a member of the Florida Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and vice president and education chair for Central Florida Society of Optometric Physicians.

Dr. Roxanne Achong-Coan
Roxanne Achong-Coan, O.D., graduated from the New England College of Optometry and completed a contact lens residency in Portland, Oregon. During her contact lens residency, Dr. Achong-Coan was involved in corneal rehabilitation, management of preoperative and postoperative refractive surgery, and fitting specialty contact lenses - keratoconus, multifocal gas permeable lenses, post graft corneas, aphakes, and patients with poor refractive surgery outcomes. She was also a clinical and laboratory instructor at Pacific University in Portland, Oregon. She has published articles in research journals, presented posters at national optometric conferences, and lectured to opticians, optometry students, residents and her colleagues on contact lens related topics. She is a member of the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
